Bringing home your new baby
Baby doll lambs have been very hardy for me compared to the goat kids but they still need a few things to strive. Unlike the goats they will stand out in the rain but they do need a dry shelter when they decide they have had enough of the storm. They are little pigs in disguise and don’t need near as much feed as the goats do. They will get fat fast if they have free access to alfalfa. A fat animal will develop joint problems as they get older so take it easy on the extra treats. Avoid copper. Do not let your sheep eat cow or goat minerals because they are full of copper and can easily cause copper toxicity in sheep.

I require a $100 nonrefundable deposit to hold a lamb until it is weaned and ready for its new home. I accept PayPal, Venmo, and cash. Once the lamb(s) are weaned the buyer is responsible to pick them up within two weeks of the weaning date or the date that was agreed upon for pick up. After the two weeks are up a $3 per day board fee will go into effect per animal to help me cover the costs of feeding and caring for the animal(s).
