Miniature Zebu
Meet the Zebu
Miniature zebu are the smallest cattle breed available on the market. Their small size makes them perfect for small homesteads who are looking for milk, meat or just a good weed eater and pet. These little guys originate from India and are extremely hardy when it comes to heat and parasites. They also adapt completely fine to extreme colds if they have a draft free place to keep dry. The miniature zebu has been around for thousands of years dating back to 3000bc. Their average lifespan is about 20 years. Zebu can be a bit stand off ish at first but with some time and patience they can become great pets who love scratches and treats.

About our Zebu
The Zebu on our farm are all tested for Jones, Q-fever, and Brucellosis. We are very cautious when adding any new animal to the farm and take the appropriate measures to keep all of our animals safe. This includes health testing and quarantine for an extended period of time. Our zebu range from about 32 to 34 inches in height. If you purchase a calf from us you can decide if you want them to have horns or not. If not I will disbud him or her free of charge. Our calves are also started on a halter so they will be walking on a lead by the time they are weaned at 4-5 months old. We have zebu who are AMZA registered, dual registered with IMZA and a few unregistered zebu.
