Getting off to a good start
There is nothing more exciting than bringing a new animal home and we are here to help every step of the way. Nigerian dwarf goats are usually very hardy animals but kids can be a bit more sensitive than the adults. Kids here that are weaned have been wormed and have had coccidia prevention helping them to get the best start in their new homes. It’s important that kids have a dry draft free shelter, clean water, loose minerals, and 24/7 access to hay or pasture to keep them in optimal health. Also keep an eye out for predators in your area. A well trained gaurdian dog is worth it’s weight in gold to have on a farm or homestead.
